VIJAYPUR : A series of public meetings were held in Chak Babral, Badali and Gho-Rakwala in Vijaypur by Surjeet Singh Slathia, Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur. He assured the people that the government is committed to provide basic amenities to the people of the area.
Earlier Slathia inaugurated Community Facility Centre (CFC) and lanes and drains in village Chak Babral which hav e been completed at a cost of Rs.25 lakh by Rural Development Department under the scheme BADP. While speaking on the occasion Slathia said that several developmental works are under execution in Vijaypur Constituency which shall benefit the people of the area and adjoining villages.
He also inaugurated three additional class rooms in Government Middle School, Badali which have been completed at the cost of Rs.9.45 lakh under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). On the completion of these class rooms the children of the village shall be benefitted.
Slathia also inaugurated lanes and drains in village Gho-Rakwala which have been completed at the cost of Rs.12.00 lakh executed by Rural Development Department under the scheme MGNREGA.
While addressing the public gathering Slathia said that the coalition Government has ensured equitable development of all the regions of the State adding that the main attention has been given by the government for up-gradation of the basic facilities and infrastructural adding that focus has been on providing better medical health care facilities for people of remote and far flung areas.
He gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Omar led coalition government in nook and corner of the state.
Among others the officers of different departments and Panchs and Sarpanchs were present on the occasion.
