UDHAMPUR: 02 days training programme on ‘NCCRP (CCTNS)’ organized by SKPA Udhampur concluded on Thursday. About 15 officials from various Districts, of UT J&K participated in the training programme. Important aspects related to CCTNS/Cyber Crime which include; Cyber Crime and its types, Introduction to ICJS and its connection with CCTNS, Introduction to NCRP portal, How to register a complaint in Cyber Crime portal, How to accept, reject, transfer and close a Cyber Crime complaint, How to withdraw a cyber complaint, How to convert a cyber complaint into FIR through CCTNS portal, Finding intermediary details in NCRP portal, Reopening of closed complaints, Introduction to cyber forensics, Framing of notices u/s 91,92, Cr.PC, Basics of social media and email investigation, IP look up and domain lookup and Hands on live cyber complaints on their concerned police station are covered during the training programme.
Suraj Singh, Dy.SP, Asstt. Director (Trg/R&D) SKPA Udhampur said police has to be tech savvy in handling Cyber Crime. Advised participants to sahare knowledge gained in the course with fellow police personnel.
