NOWSHERA: Police on Saturday busted a gang of thieves at Nowshera by arresting six thieves and recovering stolen goods of one lakh fifteen thousand
Keeping in view the rising incidents of thefts and burglaries in Nowshera Town and surrounding area, a special team was constituted by SDPO Nowshera Sargun Shukla, which under the supervision of SSP Rajouri Rajeshwar Singh, busted a gang of thieves and burglars and arrested six thieves identified as Ansar Mehmood, Sajad Mehmood sons of Manzoor Hussain resident of Dabber Tehsil Nowshera, Davinder Kumar son of Romesh Chander resident of Dharat Tehsil Nowshera, Sunil Kumar son of Chuuni Lai resident of Jhangar, Babal Kumar son of Lal Chand and Kulbir Chandial son of Hamam Singh resident of Dabber Tehsil Nowshera.
Police also recovered two motorcycle, cash, mobile phones etc valuing Rs. 1,50,000 from their possession. The special team was headed by SHO Nowshera Inspector Ravinder Singh Parihar assisted by SI Altaf Hussain, SI Ghulam Murtaza, ln-Charge Police Post Bhawani and HC Sham LaL and solved case vide FIR No. 09/2016 under section 457/380/RPC, FIR No. 10/2016 under section 457/380/RPC, 11/2016 under section 457/380/RPC, 13/2016 under section 379/RPC, 17/2016 under section 457/380/RPC, 20/2016 under section 379/RPC and 19/2016 under section 457/380/511/RPC of Police Station Nowshera
