Six injured in accidents

SRINAGAR: Six persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Awantipora, an Alto car bearing registration number JK03E-9686 driven by Tariq Ahmad Khan resident of Mattan Anantnag turned turtle at Awantipora Chowk, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Budgam, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13-9207 driven by Ishfaq Ahmad Rather resident of Pohru Budgam and a Tata-407 vehicle bearing registration number JK01E-2787 at Peerbagh Chowk collided, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Mohammad Altaf Sofi resident of Zadoora Pulwama. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Bandipora, an Alto car bearing registration number JK02AF-5311 driven by Mudasir Mehraj Bhat resident of Dev Bagh Chadoora turned turtle on National Highway near Sarai Dangerpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.
