Sinha appointed Jt. Dir CBI

JAMMU: 1996 batch IPS officer Manish Kishore Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir cadre has been appointed as Joint Director in Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI), New Delhi.
The orders in this regard were issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, on Wednesday.
Sinha is presently heading the Head Quarters of Anti Corruption Zone 2, in CBI with all India Jurisdiction. He is also concurrently heading the Multi Disciplinary Multi Agency Zone investigating Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. Sinha is also supervising investigations of Vayapam Scam of Madhya Pradesh which has been in the public eye nationally.
While in J&K, Sinha served at important positions of SSP Border, officiating SSP Jammu, SSP Rajouri, DIG Doda-Kishtwar Range, and DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range. Sinha has also served as Deputy Direct0r of Intelligence Bureau in Jammu and at the Indian Embassy in Dubai.
