Silver medalist Indian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Team meets Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar

NEW DELHI: India’s Men’s Volleyball Under-20 team led by captain Dushyant Singh Jakhar, which won Silver in recently concluded 21st Asian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Championship held at Riffa, Bahran, on Wednesday met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar here.
The Vice-President, Jagdeep Dhankar also congratulated the Captain of the Team, Dushyant Singh Jakhar for having won the ‘Best Blocker of Asia” award and also greeted the whole Indian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Team for their outstanding performance in the event.
The Vice-President honoured the Indian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Team and extended his best wishes for the forthcoming FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship 2023 to be held next year.
He assured Indian team that he will extend all help to the budding players and Volleyball Federation of India for promoting and developing the volleyball game in India.
Anil Choudhary, Secretary General, Volleyball Federation of India also present along with team members who met the Vice-President of India.
Dhankhar’s office also shared photographs and a short video of the interaction.
