Sikh org extend support to Jammu Bandh call

JAMMU       :     During an emergency meeting of various Sikh organisations held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Avtar Singh Khalsa, the participants extended their solidarity and strong support to the Jammu Bandh call on 27th May, 2015 given by AIIMS Coordination Committee against sheer discrimination with the Jammu.

Avtar Singh pointed out that it was a matter of great surprise that BJP which had for the last 67 years  been fighting against injustice with Jammu, is itself imparting injustice to Jammu when it came to power during 68th year of the Independence. He said that all the BJP representatives in the government are from Jammu Province and the people of Jammu are critically watching their sympathies towards Jammu  and would accordingly react in the next elections.

In his address Chief Organiser Bhai Kanahiya Nishkam Seva Society Mohinder Singh appealed to the President Bar Association Jammu to include Sikh members also in the Coordination Committee to ensure active participation of the community in all the present and future activities of the committee.

Prominent among others who participated in the meeting include President All India Sikh Students Federation Paramjit Singh, Chief Advisor Sikh Naujwan Sabha Kulwant Singh, General Secretary Sikh Welfare Society Gajan Singh, Ex-Gen Secretary DGPC Ramnik Singh Bujral, Sarpanch Raja Singh,Manmohan Singh, Surjit Singh, Harpal Singh, Kanpur Singh Datta, Kultar Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Tejpal Singh, Rajinder Singh and Charanvir Singh.
