CUTTACK: Opener Shub-ham Khajuria’s unbeaten 110 along with Pranav Gupta’s 80 helped Jammu and Kashmir draw against Haryana in Cuttack after they were asked to follow on.
J&K batted out the entire day after starting on from their overnight score of 38 for 0.
Opener Khajuria put on a 167-run partnership for the second wicket with Gupta after his partner Umar Nazir was dismissed on 38.
Gupta was dismissed in the 94th over by Mohit Sharma-who picked up three wickets-but with the duo playing out most of the day, the game ended as a draw six overs later.
Earlier, on day-3, resuming from an overnight total of 84/1, J&K bundled out for 262 despite Pranav Mahajan’s brilliant 94 runs.
Haryana put up a reasonably fine batting performance to post 502/10 in its first inning.
Haryana picked up three points with Jammu and Kashmir fetching one.
The teams decide enough is enough as a win looked unlikely with J&K putting up a better performance with the bat in the second innings.
