Shri Kali Mata Sewa Samiti holds Gou-Katha

UDHAMPUR: Shri Kali Mata Gou Sewa Samiti, Thill-Roun hosted three-day Gou-Katha in Goushala premises aimed at making the common masses aware about the importance of worshiping cow.
Renowned Saint Swami Subash Shastri recited Gou-Katha saying that it was the foremost duty of every indiviual to rear cow of Indian origin as its milk is very useful for keeping good health besides boosting the economy of household.
Describing cow as divine animal, Shastri ji said that the cow is worshipped by Devtas, Rishis, saints and individuals from the times immemorial in India. Cow fulfils your all aspirations and takes nothing from the individual , Shastri ji asserted. He asked the people to be aware and save the cow from brutality as it was collective responsibility of all for its safety.
MoS , Pawan Kumar Gupta and Legislator of Chenani, Dina Nath Bhagat attended the congregation. They also spoke on the occasion and assured the Samiti of all possible help which included up- gradation of existing link road, drinking water facility and construction of retaining wall etc. Former MLA, Mankotia assured to donate ambulance.
The office bearers of the Samiti, Raghubir Chander, Ashok Padha, Sansar Singh Jamwal and Sagar also spoke on the occasion. A grand Bhandara was also held on concluding day where thousands of men, women and children took Prasad.
