Shree Ram Leela Club Sainik Colony announces mega program for Janmashtami

JAMMU: Shree Ram Leela Club Sainik Colony is set to host an extensive program to celebrate Shree Krishna Janmashtami, running from August 24 to 28, 2024.
Established in 2008, the club is renowned for its dedication to both social and cultural development, organizing various events such as Shree Krishna Janmashtami, Shree Ganesh Puja, Leela of Shree Ram, Lohri Milan, Independence Day Run, and medical camps.
The festivities will commence with a series of Leela performances of Shree Krishna, which will be staged daily at 8:00 PM from August 24 to August 28, 2024.
These performances aim to depict the divine stories and deeds of Shree Krishna, providing an enriching cultural experience for attendees.
A major highlight of the celebrations will be the grand Shobha Yatra on August 26, 2024. The procession will start at 3:00 PM from the club ground in Sainik Colony and will traverse various sectors of the locality.
This vibrant procession is expected to be a significant event, showcasing the community’s enthusiasm and devotion.
The Shree Ram Leela Club Sainik Colony has consistently hosted these grand celebrations, making it the only club in Jammu and Kashmir to perform Shree Krishna Leela on such a large scale with unwavering consistency since its inception. The club’s ongoing efforts in organizing social and religious events are aimed at the holistic development of the society.
The press conference was attended by prominent members of the club, including Rakesh Chowdhary, Surjeet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Surinder Singh Narania, Sachin Slathia, Rahul Chanda, and Harivansh Gupta, who shared details about the upcoming events and the club’s commitment to community service and cultural preservation.
