Dear Editor,
We, the habitants of Lakkarmandi Lane Number 5 want to bring the attention of authorities towards the grave problem of acute shortage of water supply. However even if we look into other lanes of our area, common are the sights of people wasting the precious water.There has been the shortage in water supply serving to our area for the last few weeks.Residents are left with no option other than to purchase water from tank or some by using motor to get water from the tap. For the last seven days,we haven’t received even a single drop of water in our lane. Keeping our dire need in view to get regular water supply to cater the daily needs of the residents, we have a plea before concerning authorities to look into the matter and resolve this problem to provide us little relief in these hot days.
