JAMMU: Massive fire broke out at Nidra mattress factory at Gangyal in Jammu’s Industrial area on Saturday apparently due to the short circuit. Soon after the raging flames and thick smoke emerged out of the factory, the fire tenders from J&K fire and emergency services department immediately rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.
No casualty or injury has been reported in the incident. However, goods worth lakhs of rupees have been damaged in the fire incident. As per factory employees, the owner of the factory is out of the country at present.
