JAMMU: Supporting the initiative taken by MLA Rajesh Gupta, Pir Ravi Nath, Mahant Jamavant Gupha, on Wednesday appealed to all the devotees and tourists coming in the State to attend Shivratri Festival in a grand Mela from 23rd to 25th February, 2017 at Peer Kho Temple.
Talking to media persons, Ravi Nath said that the world famous Peer Kho Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is located in the old Jammu city, at the Tawi river bank is known for its splendour as well as its spiritual and cultural significance.
During Mela, cultural programmes, Bhakti Sangeet and Bhanadra shall be organised, he said and appealed to all the citizens to attend this Mela enthusiastically.
He appealed to district administration to take all effective measures to make the Mela successful.
