JAMMU: State President Shiv Sena ( Bala Ji Sahib Thackery) Dimpy Kohli on Saturday urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to impose Governor rule in J&K to restore peace and normalcy. Rajnath Singh is presently on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing party workers here, Dimpy said that Kashmir is boiling for the last 14 days and Central Government is sitting as a mute spectator. He however, hailed the role of security forces including Army, BSF, CRPF and other forces deployed in Kashmir for their efforts in bringing back normalcy in Kashmir. He also raised the issue of people living in Jammu stating that they were subjected to undue sufferings on account of Kashmir unrest. He said that it is very unfortunate that separatists’ anti-India activities are forcing the patriotic people of Jammu to face hardships. “The business here has gone haywire and internet ban has lead to delay in filing of Income Tax and Sales Tax returns by Jammu’s business community increasing difficulties manifold”, he added.
“The anger among the masses against the anti-people polices of the Modi led Central and Mehbooba led State Government besides the failure of the Government to reach out to the general masses has played critical role in inciting Kashmir unrest”, he maintained. He said that if Central Government is really sincere in restoring peace and normalcy in Kashmir then the only solution is imposing the Governor’s rule. G.I Singh, Raju Salaria and Raj Singh were also present.
