JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) Jammu Kashmir unit has expanded its manifesto based on public aspirations and resolved to change the name of Mughal Road, name Jammu and Srinagar airports and broadcast 24*7 digital Duggar channel along with Dogra museum in Katra..
In a press conference held today at Jammu Press Club, party state president Manish Sahni released his new manifesto and said that some more suggestions received from the public have been given place in the party manifesto. In which Mughal Road connecting Rajouri-Poonch of Jammu division to Kashmir is to be renamed as Dogra ruler Maharaja Gulab Singh Marg, Jammu airport will be named after Maharaja Hari Singh and Srinagar airport will be named after Professor Balraj Madhok. Along with this, to promote Dogra cultural identity, a Dogra museum will be established in the Holy city of Katra and 24×7 digital Duggar channel will be broadcast. Sahni said that any Mughal stamp that causes plunder in India and Jammu and Kashmir cannot be tolerated at all. Our historical and ancient places should be named after the heroes of Jammu and Kashmir and Dogra Maharajas. Sahni said that the party founder Balasaheb Thackeray has taught his Shiv Sainiks to raise their voice for their cultural identity and the rights of the local people. Sahni has appealed to the voters to give a chance to Shiv Sena (UBT).
“Victory of our candidates will be guarantee of restoration of rights,” he said.
