Shiv Sena leader attacked with sharp-edged weapon

JAMMU: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackery, Vice President Rajan Gupta was attacked by some miscreants.
While addressing media persons, State President Dimpy Kohli said that last night some miscreants attacked Rajan Gupta by sharp edge weapon resulting in him receiving injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
Kohli said that after hoisting the National Flag at Lal Chowk Srinagar the Shiv Sena leaders are targeted by anti-national elements.
Kohli mentioned that earlier also he received threats and some unscrupulous elements pelted stones on the house of party’s General Secretary Manish Sahni. And now the Vice President was attacked by a sharp-edged weapon.
Kohli criticised the State Coalition Government for not showing its serious concern towards the incidents happening with State Shiv Sena leaders.
General Secretary Manish Sahni strongly criticised the district administration for not providing adequate security to the Shiv Sena leaders. He said it is unfortunate that despite repeated requests the district administration has not shown concern towards the demand of State Shiv Sena leaders.
Vice President Nathpal Chowdary, Spokesman Rajesh Kak, Raj Singh, Pawan Singh, Raju, Vikas Bakshi, Sanjeev Sharma and Vikas Patel were also present.
