JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) strongly criticised the Student Wing of BJP (ABVP) for not providing shelter to the students of NIT Srinagar in Jammu.
While addressing media persons here on Sunday, State President of Shiv Sena, Dimpy Kohli said that the students of NIT Srinagar reached Jammu from Srinagar to raise their voice against the injustice meted out to them adding that all these students who reached Jammu are non-locals and true nationalists with Tri-colour in their hands.
Mentioning that these students have no safe shelter in Jammu, Dimpy stressed that these students with a hope that they can take help from ABVP Jammu Wing approached local leaders of ABVP to provide them shelter anywhere in Jammu but ABVP clearly refused to oblige them.
After that all these students took shelter at Gurudwara Bibi Chand Kour at Gumat. Dimpy Kohli said that ABVP is offspring of BJP and RSS and has no human heart mentioning that these students had to face very tough time and as a student representative it is the duty of ABVP to help them but what all happened shows inhuman face of ABVP. He said that all the protests by ABVP on NIT issue are just shedding crocodile tears.
He further said that BJP and its associates have totally failed to save the rights of Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir and also in the entire country. He mentioned that he raised this issue with ABVP President Iswar and lodged his protest against the inhuman behaviour of ABVP with the students of NIT Srinagar. He said Shiv Sena totally condemned behaviour of ABVP and also gave them advice to work on the principles of humanity and not to indulge in cheap politics.
