JAMMU: To accelerate the welfare activities, residents of Shankar Vihar Talab Tillo, Jammu constituted a welfare committee, here on Monday.
A large number of inhabitants of the colony participated in the meeting and unanimously decided to frame a welfare committee.
The Executive Committee (Office bearers) of welfare committee include Dr. S.K Sharma (Chairman), Er. B.L Rawal (Vice Chairman), D.N Raina (President), M. L Khosa (Senior Vice-President), S.C Gupta (Senior Vice-President), Ashok Sharma (Vice-President), R.K Ahluwalia (General Secretary), Tilak Raj (Secretary), Shashi Sharma (Organising Secretary), Naveen Kapoor (Publicty Secretary) and Mukesh Khanna (Treasurer).
The Senior Advisory Committee comprised of Ashok Kumar Pargotra, Prof. M.K Dhar, Vir Uma Shanker Sharma, Maharaj Krishan Pandita, K.K Bhatt, Rajesh Angurana, Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Ramesh Khar, Sunil Khar, Ramesh Kumar Sharma and Dwarka Nath.
The working committee members included P.K Mam, Suresh Parihar, B.L Kaul, Sham Lal Sharma, Balvinder Kumar, Rajesh Paba, Romesh Kuchroo, J.K Mankotia, Ashwani Arora, Vijay Koul, Kuldeep Raj, Sukreet Gupta, Nikhil Sharma and Deepak Kumar.
All members and office bearers resolved to take-up the issues pertaining to drinking water, cleanliness, electricity, etc. They also appealed to departments including PHE, JMC and PDD for revitalising their resources to provide hassle free services to residents of Shankar Vihar.
