POONCH: LOC Club shall meet Glamorous Cricket Club in the finals of Shaheed Manjeet Singh Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament.
Earlier in the semifinal match played on Saturday, LOC Club beat Youth Cricket Club (YCC) Poonch.
Batting first after winning the toss, YCC set a target of in his 118 runs in 20 overs. Parvaiz and Meetu made 20 and 19 runs respectively. For LOC Club, Abid, Yasir and Sonu shared two wickets each.
LOC club batsman played well and chased the target in just 15 overs. Joney was the main scorer with 47 runs while Vicky and Yasir added 20 and 21 runs to the total. For YCC, Parvaiz took two wickets.
Today’s match was officiated by Zaid Hussain, J.P Singh and Romesh Sharma. Additional SP, Amit Gupta was the Chief Guest who congratulated the organising committee for exploring the hidden talent of the youth in sports.
