SGEJAC demands 7th Pay Panel recommendations

JAMMU: State Government Employee’s Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) on Thursday asked State Government to implement the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commissions in the State without any delay.
In a meeting held on Thursday, Sushil Sudan, senior member of the Committee, impressed upon government that the genuine demands of the employees must be fulfilled without any delay to avoid any protest.
Further, the Joint Action Committee requested all the employees to buckle up for any struggle to achieve the said goals specially to get the recommendations of Seventh Pay Commission implemented in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The other major demands of State Government Employees highlighted were regularization of all the daily wager employees, enhancement in the Medical Allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs. 5000, removal of anomalies from almost all the categories of Non-Gazetted employees, Dislocation Allowance to the employees working in rural areas and equal HRA should be given to the employees working in cities and rural areas.
Others present in the meeting were Subash Verma, Yash Pal Magotra, Kartar Dubey, Farooq Ahmed, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Maheshwar Parsad, Jarnail Khokar, Madan Singh and Tilak Raj Gupta.
