DODA: Seventh two-day District Level Jawahar Lal Nehru Science/ Mathematics Exhibition organised by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda in Town Hall concluded here on Tuesday.
As many as, 131 science and mathematics exhibits were displayed by students of different government as well as private educational institutions of the district which witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 300 students besides teachers , parents and head of institutions.
On the second day of the exhibition, a skit competition on the theme “Adolescence Education Programme” was organised with special attention on Drug De-addiction. Besides, six skits were presented by the students in which Government Girls Higher Secondary Bhaderwah was adjudged as first while Government Boys Higher Secondary School Doda and Government High School Nagar Bhadarwah were adjudged as second and third respectively.
In the science/ mathematics exhibition under Elementary School Category, GHS Bheli was adjudged first while UPS Shalote and GHS Bagla were adjudged second and third respectively.
In Secondary School Category the schools AIER Doda, GHS Chiralla and GHSS Ghat were adjudged as first , second and third respectively. The first , second and third positions in Higher Secondary School Category went to Green Model HSS Doda, GHSS Boys Bhaderwah and GHSS Girls Doda respectively.
Principal DIET Doda K.L Parihar congratulated all the winners and informed that the first position holders in each category will compete at Divisional Level from where the winners will be selected for State and National level competitions.
