Seven injured in road mishaps

RAMBAN/UDHAMPUR: Seven persons were injured on Friday in separate road mishaps in Ramban and Udhampur Districts. According to a report, one Tavera (JK13B-9850) which was on its way from Railway Station Banihal towards Jammu on reaching Shaban pass Banihal (near mile stone-184) collided with a truck (JK05A-8346) coming from opposite side resulting in five persons traveling in Tavera got injured.
Locals rescued the injured persons and shifted them to SDH Banihal.
The injured have been identified as Jivan Singh (30) son of Puran Singh resident of Udhampur, Majid Ahmed (25) son of Mohd Jameel Gania resident of Sopore Kashmir, Tariq Ahmed (26) son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Lalpura Lolab Kupwara and Showket Ahmed (21) Son of Kuzar Mohd Dar resident of Kupwara.
In another accident, a 6 yrs boy Barunmdev Singh son of Pushvinder Singh resident of Ward No. 12, Ramnagar was hit by an unknown car in Ramnagar. Injured was shifted to SDH Ramnagar from where doctors further referred him to District Hospital Udhampur.
Yet in another road accident, a youth identified as Joginder Singh son of Jagdev Singh resident of village Pathi in Udhampur got injured. Injured was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. However Ramnagar and Udhampur police registered a cases and launched the investigation.
