Senior citizen resent poor sanitation in holy town

KATRA: Monthly meeting of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra was held at Hotel Basera on Monday under the chairmanship of its President Shiv Kumar Sharma, which was attended by all the members of the forum where the problems being faced by senior citizens of locality were discussed.
In a unanimous decision it has been stressed by all the participants to knock the doors of J and K Govt. Local Bodies authorities attracting their attention towards poor civic condition of Katra town where sanitation drive is totally paralysed.
Shiv Kumar Sharma also requested Deputy Commissioner Reasi to spare some valuable moment from his busy schedule by spot visiting of deserted lanes of Katra town with worse sanitation condition and heap of garbage dumped at Katra Reasi Road and ensure proper metering of all auto Rikshaws, proper track for mules entering Katra town, proper display of price-lists by all shopkeepers and strict compliance in polythene restrictions in the holy town.
Spot decision/ instructions of Deputy Commissioner Reasi shall be appreciated by the forum keeping in view the coming Navratra Festival in the last week of September.
