JAMMU: Ishwar Ashram Trust (IAT), Jammu, is organising a two-day seminar on ‘Kashmir Shaivismm-the unique way of Self Realisation’ on November 4 and 5, 2017 at Savoy Hotel, Residency Road Jammu.
During the seminar a book titled ‘Light on Tantra in Kashmir Shaivism-Abhinavagupta’s Tantraloka’ revealed by Swami Lakshmanjoo shall be released on November 4. In the past the trust has regularly organised seminars and workshops in Jammu, Srinagar and in Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi.
Prominent faculty from all over India shall expected to participated in the event which include Dr R.K Angiras (Chandigarh), Dr SM Mishra (Kurukshetra University), Dr Varun Tripathi (SMVDU, Katra), Dr Hari Ram Mishra (JNU, New Delhi), Prof M.L Kokiloo (IAT), P.N Kaul (IAT) and Dr Ajay Kumar Singh (Central University, Jammu).
The seminar would cover various topic related to self realisation from the perspective of Kashmir Shaivism. These include principle features of Kashmir Shaivism- Simplified for the common man, Present Day Science and Kashmir Shaivism – Are there any meeting points?, Swami Lakshmanjoo: His life and contribution to Kashmir Shaiva Philosophy, Devotion and its importance in Kashmir Shaivism, How Kashmir Shaivism answers everyday questions about life and many other related topics.
Kashmir Shaivism is a unique philosophy that has flourished and propagated in Kashmir for a long time. This philosophy is meant for any human being without restriction of caste, creed, or colour. Its purpose is to enable you to rise from individuality to universality.
