Seminar on improving qualityof education held

KATHUA: A national seminar on the topic ‘Teacher’s Initiative towards Quality and Value Education’ was organised on Wednesday in Multipurpose Hall of Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education, Rajbagh Kathua.
On this occasion Dr. Prof. Janak Singh Principal, Govt. Women College Kathua, was the Chief Guest while Prof. Yashpaul Sharma, Govt. Women College Kathua, was the Guest of Honour.
Ganesh Shanker Vidharthi and Lakshmi Niwas Pandey HoD Education Deptt. Rashitrya Sanskrit Sansthan Garly (HP) the also present as special invitee. The seminar started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Shakti Kohli Director of the College, Himanshu Kohli Trustee, Dr. K.R Jha Principal of the College and Brij Kolhi Vice- Principal of the College.
Chief Guest while interacting with the participants said that a teacher has to take initiative to improve the quality and value education. He said that State as well as Central Govt. has introduced various policies and commissions from time to time to improve the system of the education but the results are not achieved as per the required standard. The main cause is that the policies are not implemented in real sense.
The Chief Guest congratulated the management and college staff for organising the seminar. Prof. Ganesh Shanker Vidharthi and Prof. Lakshmi Niwas Pandey Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Garly (H.P) shared their views to improve the quality and value education on this occasion.
Prof Chaman Singh from Himachal Pradesh and Prof. Rajeev Divedi, Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education Maler Kotla Punjab also shared their views. Isha Sumberia Lect. In Education of Rajiv Gandhi College of Eduaction Kathua, Mohan Lal Lect. in Education Cosmic College of Education, Hannah Bharti of Guru Gang Dev College of Education Chann Arorian shared their views in the seminar. Minakshi Chouhan Lect. in Education, Savita Changotra Lect. in English, Monika Sharma, Lect. in Mathematics, Uma Sharma, Lect. in Computer Science and Aditi Sharma of Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Rajbagh Kathua also shared their views on this occasion.
Dr. K.R Jha Principal of the College presented the vote of thanks.
