Sehwag Club wins friendly T20 cricket match

BISHNAH: Sehwag Cricket Club outplayed Bishnah Cricket Club in a tough contest and won the friendly T20 cricket match played at Higher Secondary School Ground, here on Sunday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Bishnah Cricket Club set a target of 115 runs in allotted 20 overs which in reply Sehwag Cricket Club despite tight bowling by Bishnah Cricket Club won the match in the last ball by three wickets. Man of the Match was awarded to Anil Sharma of Sehwag Cricket Club.
Senior Advocate, M.K Bhardwaj, Chief Guest, congratulated the victorious team and said that such events are helpful in enhancing synergy and cementing an affable relation amongst people of different areas.
He further pointed out that Bishnah in particular completely lacks any sports facility. He called upon the youth of Bishnah and the State to play and participate in games of their choice and interest. He further said that sports enhances the bonding amongst society and instills discipline in life.
Guest of Honour, Ashok Kumar Dubey congratulated the wining team and encouraged the youth of the area to participate in various sports. Dubey appreciated the efforts of the players of Bishnah area who have excelled in various sports activities without any proper sports facilities or infrastructure.
Prominent persons present at the prize distribution ceremony were Surjeet Singh Sarpanch, Rajesh Sharma, Shal Lal Mehra, Raj Kumar Dubey, Darshan Sharma and Ghansham Sharma.
