JAMMU: Social Economic Environment Development Society (SEEDS) organised a cleanliness drive at Greater Jammu Colony wherein the volunteers and residents of the area were participated.
The fortnight cleanliness drive, started from August 1, is organised through the Nehru Yuva Kender, Jammu.
On this occasion, a collective pledge was taken by all volunteers before starting the area clean and vowed to continue in future too.
Rampaul Dogra, social activist gave few suggestions that cleanliness is necessary to remain hygienic and we must adopt it in our daily life.
K.C Kundan, Chairman of the Society said that people should leave hesitation and connect to such programmes which reminding us olden days when our elders were performing all types of job themselves including cleanliness.
