SEECC delegation meets Parwez Dewan

JAMMU: A delegation of School Education Employees Co-Ordination Committee (SEECC) led by its Provincial President Amar Nath Thakur called on Advisor to Governor Parwez Dewan in the Civil Secretariat late in the evening on 8th March 2016 and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The demands highlighted in memorandum included adjustment of Masters promoted in February, 2014, repatriation of Lecturers/Masters serving in far flung areas outside their home districts and within district and their suitable adjustment, sanctioning of clerical staff for five hanging zones of Kathua District viz Bhaddu, Mahanpur, Lakhanpur, Marheen and Sallan, and Ramgarh Zone of Samba District, post facto permission to all teachers who have already appeared or have acquired degrees before 2016, increasing examination charges for conducting 10+2 and 10th classes of the supervisory staff Rs. 500 per day, releasing DPC list of all PG Masters/teachers to be promoted as 10+2 lecturers in all streams, DPC of left out senior masters in commerce subject, regularisation of RET/KGBV teachers and their transfer Policy, releasing salary grants of RMSA, SSA, KGBV, MDM and adjustment of pending liability of 6th Pay Commission arrears of 4th and 5th installments of teachers working under RMSA and SSA schemes, handing over of question papers of 10+2 and 10th class by Police and board officials at the examination centres on the same day for conducting examinations, issuing DPC list of physical education lecturers, lifting of examination ban on RET teachers in performing Board exam duties, etc.
Thakur during the meeting thanked Advisor to Governor Parwez Dewan for hearing all demands patiently and for taking initiative to constitute regularisation Committee for regularizing all three thousand incharge officers and lecturers of School Education Department and forwarding the submitted memorandum to Commissioner Secretary School Education vide No. 165/PS/adv/D/2016 dated 1st March 2016. Advisor also asked the delegation to inform him regarding the progress of regularisation of incharge officers and lecturers of school education department in the coming days.
The delegation comprised of Satish Datta General Secretary Jammu Province, Rahul Singh District President Samba, Kewal Kumar, Vinod Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Surjit Singh, Jagdish Chander, Headmasters Dileep Dhar, Yograj Singh, Ashoni Sharma, Sudershan Singh, Manjit Singh, Surjit Singh, Devinder Sharma and Rajesh Soodan.
