JAMMU: With the outstanding batting performance of young cricketers Jodhamal Public School defeated KC International School by 67 runs in the league match of the ongoing Second Col RN Chopra Challenge Under-12 Cup, played here on Thursday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Jodhamal School, with the brilliant batting performance, set a target of 168 runs without loss of any wicket.
Dhruv Singh Parmar played powerful unbeaten innings of 82 hitting sixes and boundaries while Aditya Abrol too displayed his good batting technique smashing unbeaten 66 runs.
In reply, KC International School continuously losing their wickets in small interval made only 102 with the loss of nine wickets. Yuvraj and Himanshu were the main scorers with 28 and 19 runs respectively.
For Jodhamal, Dhruv scalped three wickets in his four overs spell giving away 12 runs. Anmol, Harish and Abu shared one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Deepak Dogra and Akash Manhas under the supervision of Sukomal Ganguly.
