KATHUA: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Bani M.A Bandey convened a meeting with Tehsil level officers to Lake stock of the losses /damage caused by the flash floods in the Tehsil.
SDM sought information from officers of various departments about the situation arisen as a result of the recent flash floods and heavy rains.
He asked the officers to take help of the Panchs and Sarpanchs in the process of assessment. The meeting was informed that corn and beans crops have been badly damaged due to floods and heavy rains, while about 40-45 cattle have also died.
