BANI: The Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Bani, Joginder Singh Jasrotia on Sunday flagged off the group of patients for free eye surgeries at Jammu.
The third batch of patients left for free eye surgical camp being held at Jammu. The surgery camp is being organized by Maa Chandi Welfare Trust Doullha Mata aiming to provide free healthcare facilities.
Chairman of Trust, Gori Shankar said that every year the Trust has organized free eye surgical camps for the general public and with the kind support of Dr Satish Gupta free surgery was performed. The Trust has provided all facilities like pick and drop of patience from their place, free food, accommodation and other necessary facilities, he added.
The Trust Chairman said that this was the 7th free camp being held and every year hundreds of patients got operated and availed the services of the Trust. The Trust besides carrying out free health camps also conducts social welfare camps to facilitate the masses.
The Trust Chairman extended his gratitude and thanked SDM Bani, Joginder Singh Jasrotia for his valuable suggestions and encouraging support to the Trust to carry on its noble activities.
Trust Sewaks comprising Neel Kanth, Vivek, Tilak Raj and Kuldeep were also present.
