Through the columns of your esteemed paper I being the elected member Panchayat of Village Lilote, Bulandpur Tehsil Assar District Doda would like to bring to your notice that a Middle School at jatar ( Revenue village Lilote) is functioning since 1978. Dewan Chand, Jameet Ram, Sushma Devi (Panch), Suram Chand and Jag Mohan in connivance with two teachers Tariq Hussain and Roshan Lal of the School have stolen the furniture, utensils and all the record from the school as a result of which the students are facing lot of inconvenience in their studies. The stolen articles have been kept in the house of Rattan Lal, a Police Constable. Even the mid-day meal meant for the students has also been stopped without any authority under some conspiracy. The education of the students has been affected very seriously. Though ZEPO alongwith Master Dev Raj cam on spot but could do nothing.
The matter was brought in the notice of the Chief Education Officer, Doda, Zonal Education Officer but neither any investigation has been conducted nor any arrangement with regard to the stolen items and the mid-day meals has been made till date.
I am writing this to highlight the matter so that action is taken by the authorities in the interest of the students.
