UDHAMPUR: Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangrash Samiti (SAYSS) former District Convener Vikram Singh Slathia taking serious note of registering an open FIR against army for allegedly beating to death a teacher of village Sharshali in district Budgam during a search operation, said it’s quite unjustified and a hasty decision without verifying the facts, to conduct preliminary investigation. He said security forces deployed in Srinagar have invariably shown zero tolerance despite being attacked by terrorists and stone pelters since turbulence erupted in Srinagar. He said why Govt. has not registered FIR against those involved in terrorist activities and broke the law of land openly.
Issuing a press release, SAYSS convener lambasted former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Ghulam Nabi Azad and many more Srinagar centric leadership for showing soft corner towards anti national elements and coming up openly in support of them at the stake of integrity of the nation. He urged the Govt. to book anti-national elements and their sympathisers and supporters under relevant sections for abetment to create unrest by giving bogus statements.
Slathia expressed surprise at the foolishness of the protestors who have been assured by self styled so called leaders (who don’t have public mandate) to fight till they get freedom. He said situation in Valley is deteriorating day by day and Govt. instead of crushing anti-national element itself is encouraging them. Slathia said present Govt. has demoralised the morale of the army and security forces which is not healthy sign in the overall interest of the country. Advising CM Mehbooba Mufti for stopping this violence and not to misguide and mislead the people, he said she must move aside from such dirty politics.
Slathia alleged that Mufti is encouraging the morale of the terrorists instead of dealing with strong hand. He said that she has become mute spectator instead of taking matter seriously and should initiate action against those who are supporting and encouraging the morale of terrorists in order to keep intact party vote bank in Valley at the stake life of innocent people. He said now it is high time for Center to take matter seriously and deal with under law of land against those who are creating an atmosphere of chaos and bloodshed in the country. He also appealed to Govt. to issue warning to leaders who are making statements to abet terrorism in the State and country wide in order to maintained peaceful atmosphere and to save the integrity of the country.
