JAMMU: Volunteers from Isha Foundation visited the beautify campus of JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani and briefed students regarding their project ‘Save Soil’.
They threw light on the global movement, spearheaded by responsive organizations across the globe to save soil.
United Nations warned the global community by saying that the top soil may get extinct in just 60 years. Every responsible scientist feels alarmed at having visualized the severe food shortage by 2045.
They showed a video to the audience highlighting the harsh realities. The earnest need of the hour is to take some concrete measures to initiate the mass awakening and connecting the youth with this crusade.
Sadhguru made a clarion call to the youngsters of this country. He expressed his strong desire to connect masses. The target is to connect 10 million youth to the soil and each one will make an appeal to the PM Narendra Modi through writing a letter, designing a poster, playing a Nukkad Natak, composing & singing a song etc.
Principal, Rajesh Rathore lauded the initiative taken by the Isha Foundation. He invoked students to show their connect to the soil of our great nation and pour out their hearts on a piece of paper through letter writing. He also thanked Sadhguru for connecting 10 million school students to the soil and express their worry and concern with the PM.
“Response from Jammu schools deserves a huge round of applause, which throws light on their innate responsibility of imparting good grooming to children”, further added by the Principal.
