Sat sanctions Rs 3.50 lakh for transformer

JAMMU: To provide better power services in areas of Jammu West, State President BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated new transformer installed at Rehari Colony area falling under Ward Number 25.
The works for installation of transformer was taken up under the Constituency Development Fund Scheme of the MLA in order to carry on works for setting up Sub Station as well in which he has contributed Rs 3.50 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat said that it was a long pending demand of the area as residents suffered from acute shortage of electricity and low voltage and many times electrical appliances installed at residents of public got damaged due to short circuit and there was so much problem in the area. He said transformer bearing capacity of 250 KVA has been installed in the area in order to overcome such problems.
Executive Engineer PDD Sanjay Sharma, Executive Engineer UEED Rajan Sharma, Executive Engineer JMC Parvodh Sharma, District President Ayodhya Gupta, Usha Choudhary, AEE Anil Abrol, AEE Ajay Gupta, AEE Shishir Khajuria, JE Jasbir Singh, Tejinder Dutta, Sanjeev Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Dr Anita Salgotra JMC Sanitation officer, CTO Talat Mohd, TO Prem Raj, Dr Akshay Sharma, Suresh, Vijay Bali, Balbir Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Mohan Singh, Jai Singh Chib, Sanjay Sawhney, Vipan Gupta, Sunil Gupta, Pinki, Vinod Bakshi, Suniana Mehra and Amrik Singh were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, on the direction of BJP State President, Sat Sharma, BJP District President Ayodhya Gupta started work of upgradation of drains at Amar Colony area in Ward Number 32. The work will be done under the supervision of JMC Department and will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 3.50 lakhs.
