JAMMU: In an initiative to provide common assistance to the residents of Amphalla and people passing through the area, BJP MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the work of municipal toilet near Dental College, Amphalla Chowk.
The project of the toilet is estimated to cost Rs 4.50 lakh which will be completed under the supervision of JMC under Constituency Development Plan.
Addressing the gathering, Sat said that with the construction of this toilet in the area there will be relief to the people not only belonging to the area but also to the people who are passing by the route. He said it was a long pending demand and it will be completed in a stipulated period of time so that people could use the services of the toilet.
On the demand of local residents, Sharma assured that a mini park will be constructed near the toilet complex and a water cooler for the locals will also be installed in order to cope up with the basic requirements of the public.
Mandal President BJP Praduman Singh, Ex Corporator Balwan Singh, Bal Khajuria, Sanjay Sawhney, Pawan Kumar, Gulshan Rattan, Balbir Singh, Sanjeev, Sunny Kumar, Bhajan Singh, Amarjit Singh, Shiva, Sonu, Kishore, Ankush and Manoj were present on the occasion.
