KISHTWAR: – Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of life of ACD Kishtwar Yasir Arafat Zarger in road accident which occurred on Kishtwar-Sinthan Road near Army Camp Bhandarkote Kishtwar.
On hearing the news Saroori rushed to the District Hospital Kishtwar and asked the Superintendent District Hospital Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal about the status of ACD Kishtwar and directed the doctors to extend best possible medicare besides extra care to the officer. But due to critical condition and head injury, the officer died.
In a condolence message, Saroori expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul besides a place for him in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.
A special prayer meeting was on Wednesday held at DC Office Kishtwar under the chairmanship of DDC Kishtwar Mohd Javed Khan in which district officers paid glowing tributes to the Asst Commissioner Development Kishtwar Yasir Arafat Zargar who lost his life in a tragic accident at Bhandarkoot, Kishtwar yesterday.
Calling the late officer most dedicated and efficient, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan said that his untimely demise is a setback to the whole State.
SSP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal recalled his association with the officer and said that he belonged to a humble background and rose on account of his unprecedented hard work. Various other officers also spoke on the occasion and prayed to God to give peace to departed soul and strength to his family to bear this irreparable loss.
The officers and staff members observed a two minute silence as a mark of respect for departed soul.
Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Mohammed Sharief Niaz expressed great shock and grief on the demise of KAS Officer Yassar Arafat Zargar who hailed from Bhadarwah .
