Sanskrit scholars welcome SC verdict

JAMMU: Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust welcomed the decision of Supreme Court and the efforts made by the Central Government in preserving and promoting our cultural heritage and the Sanskrit language.
The SC ratified reintroduction of Sanskrit as a third language for KV students in Classes 6-8 in the middle of the academic year after the government assured that there would be no exam or internal assessment in the subject this year and they would not face any problem in appearing for the Class-X exam under the CBSE scheme.
The Trust thanked to the verdict of SC in the favour of Sanskrit scholars and various other people supporting the promotion and preservation of mother language and organizes a debate function on the uplift of Sanskrit language among the young generation.
The trust distributed sweets and other food items among the people in the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HRD Minister Smiriti Irani.
Trust President Mahant Rohit Shastri, Chander Mouli Raina, Pt. Shakti Dutt, Pt Dev Dutt Shastri, Pt Bushan Shastri and Pt Summit Shastri were present.
