JAMMU: Jammu Kashmir Sanskrit Scholars Association honoured Sanskrit scholar and President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Mahant Rohit Shastri for his achievements in the field of Sanskrit language here on Sunday.
On this occasion, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Sanskrit Scholars Association, Pt. Dev Dutt Shastri presented a trophy and a certificate as a sign of memento to Rohit Shastri to continue his working in the field of Sanskrit language.
Pt. Dev Dutt Shastri said that with rigorous efforts of Mahant Rohit Shastri, State Government has finally solved matter of affiliation of degrees of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Ranbir Campus Jammu.
President Brahman Sabha, Shakti Dutt Sharma listed achievements of Mahant Rohit Shastri like published many magazines, books and articles in the local dailies, Panchang, Panchang calendars and many more.
On this occasion Dr. Chander Mouli Raina, Pt Mool Raj Shastri, Pt. Parvakar Shastri, Pt. Bushan Shastri, Pt. Summit Shastri, Advocate Pawan Khajuria, State BJP Kissan Morcha General Secretary Sunil Dutt, Sahil Seth, Jodh Raj Sharma and Rajat Soodan were also present.
