While speaking in several meetings, Samiti spokespersons Sanjeev Verma and Bunty Bhola said this new project is extended wing of Kathua Railway line project according to which the link will be diverted from Logate via Kumri Kathera and onwards to Billawar areas where Phinter is proposed as viable point of railway station for Billawar area and more important thing in this project is the possibility of a wide rail net expansion across the Basohli and Bani Tehsil also.
From Phinter the rail link further be forwarded to Gujaroo Nagrota, Ramkot and will join at Manwal railway station, as per the project report.
