SAMBA: The daily commuters shuttling on the Samba to Sarna Road have to face lot of difficulties as the said road is in bad shape while the concerned department and district authorities are in deep slumber.
Residents of far flung villages situated along the route like Shah Balode, Gowal Chora, Nangal, Teri, Patyari, Sarna , Chilla Danga, Mohargarh are facing lot of problems due to the poor road connectivity. People alleged that the BJP-PDP led government has totally failed in all fronts and self violated the slogan of better days. People said only in election time the political leader of the different parties come in the remote areas and dole a fake promise to the people.
They informed that due to bad shape of road, few days back a matador also turned turtle in which five children got injured. Villagers said they face more difficulties when a patient had to be shifted to main district hospital. Locals lamented that they have raised the issue with concerned authorities many times and even staged protest demanding blacktopping of the road but all requests fell to deaf ears till date. When this correspondent contacted MLA Samba Dr DK Manyal, he said the fund has been sanctioned on this road and the work will start after monsoon.
