REASI: During the 20th Meeting of Institute Management Committee (IMC), held in ITI College Reasi, A.G Ansari, General Manager, Salal and Chairman, IMC along with other members of Management Committee inspected the on-going Civil /Infrastructural Development works of ITI Reasi.
Ansari expressed satisfaction about the execution of workshop blocks being constructed at an approximate cost of Rs. one crore out of which NHPC shares Rs. 46 lakh. The block under construction is expected to be made available to the students by the start of next academic session. The institute is being upgraded under PPP mode with Salal Power Station as its industry partner.
Since the adoption of ITI by Salal Power Station as industry partner, the Institute has been well equipped with required tools for various trades, furniture, learning & training material etc. Since adoption, NHPC has spent about Rs. 80 lakh for up-gradation of the institute.
