JAMMU: Sports Authority of India (SAI) has postponed the trials for day-boarding scheme in different disciplines, including Taekwondo, at Srinagar for 18th July.
Earlier, the two-day trials for the day-boarding schemes were scheduled to be held from 11th July, but the agencies involved, J and K State Sports Council and SAI, had to shift the dates further due to disturbances in Kashmir.
“Due to ongoing tension in Valley, we had left with no other option but to re-schedule the dates for trials,” an SAI official associated with the selection process told.
