UDHAMPUR: A cluster of irate Sadhu Samaj members held a protest near Raghunath Temple on bank of Holy Devika in Udhampur to show resentment against the police for not arresting the group of burglars who had struck out at Temple and decamped with gold ornaments.
Sadhus raised slogans against the police for its failure to workout the theft case and arrest the accused.
They alleged that earlier too, burglar struck number of times at different temples at Holy Devika and police failed to ensure proper security. Protestors urged the higher ups of the police to arrest the accused without any delay and ensure security so that they may not strike again.
