R.S PURA: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday took out their traditional ‘Path Sanchalan’, in the presence of organisation’s prominent persons and main office bearers at R.S Pura.
Path Sanchalan (full dress route march) commenced from Arya Samaj Temple and after passing through Main Bazar R.S Pura, Daljeet Chowk and Bus Stand culminated near Geeta Bhavan.
During the route march, ‘Sanchaalaks’ received rousing reception by the residents of R.S Pura.
Zila Karyavahak Devinder Khajuria said that the Founder Chief of RSS Dr. Hedgevar had laid the foundation of Sangh on Dussehra Day at Nagpur in 1925 to unite Hindus across the globe. He said that RSS since then had played a vital role in strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation, promoting brotherhood and also fighting casteism. Stressing on strengthening Shakhas (RSS drills), he said the Swayamsevaks have more responsibility on their shoulders at present as country is facing more challenges today than it was facing during pre -independence days.
