BHADARWAH: To aware people especially youths about the importance of green cover and to create a sense of responsibility among them, Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Forest department Bhadarwah organised plantation drive at Bhadarwah on Wednesday.
The plantation drive whose theme was ‘Green Selfie, Go Green’ was organised under the supervision of DFO Bhadarwah, Vivek Verma at sports ground of Government Degree College Bhadarwah.
A large number of players, forest officials, army officers, Jawans and locals participated in this plantation drive and planted saplings of different species in sports ground.
CO RR, DFO Bhadarwah Vivek Verma, 2iC RR and Incharge Control Room Shafqat Khakan Malik were the Guests on the occasion.
The guests spoke about the importance of saving the environment by planting trees.
