JAMMU: Rotary Club of Jammu City in collaboration with Meyer Organics Private Limited conducted a Free Bone Density Test at JK Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu on Saturday. More than 100 patients were benefited of this test.
Dr. Gaurav Vaid briefed the masses about bone health, importance of Calcium and Vitamin D3 in one’s body. He told that today’s life style, certain hormonal changes and other medical conditions have a great impact upon the health of bones.
Osteoporosis has become one of the major medical ailment, he said adding that women folk is more affected in our region.
Earlier also such camps were conducted by the organisation and research methodology has been adapted.
President of the Club, Gurdev Singh Sodhi assured that many more medical camps in continuation to BMD and other tests will be organised by the Rotary Club of Jammu City in the near future. He said healthy mind lives in healthy body. The health of the public in general will be our motto.
Baljit Singh, Harbans Singh, Adeep Singh, Sanjeev Vaid, S.K Sawhney, Prem Shankar Singh and Rajat Singh were present throughout for the successful completion of the camp.
