JAMMU: A work shop for teachers and students was held at MV International School by RoboGenius promotes robotics and activity based learning and learning by doing methods. This is the second Robotic workshop arranged by the school to inculcate technical skills among the students.
Students and teachers from I-XII attended the workhop and learned about the modern techniques of learning and teaching in the school. This hands-on workshop also explored useful strategies for developing student’s different skills.
During his session, both students and trainers worked together to brainstorm, design and construct robots in fun filled, challenging and stimulating environment.
Young engineers of MVIS also assembled different parts with the help of the manual provided to have a race among their models.
Students were also involved in various activities like story narration by using the props and making simple robots etc.
Teachers were also inspired to use demonstration method, learning by doing methods to transform boring and monotonous classroom into a playful atmosphere where both students and teachers are more involved.
Workshop was organised by resource person Vikas Sharma, National Head of RoboGenius. It was an enriching workshop for both teachers and students as this helped them to discover the important connection between theoretical concept and real-world application.
