JAMMU: Class VIII won the boys and girls cricket matches organised by RM Public School in the school ground, here. The matches were organized by the sport teachers Rajesh Choudhary, Amandeep Singh and Jyotsana.
In boys section, class VIII team defeated Class IX. The Class VIII won the toss and decided to ball first.
The match was played with five rounds and the boys played with high sport spirit. Class IX scored 64 runs for the loss of three wickets which in reply Class VIII won the match in last over. Abhinandan for taking two wickets and making 24 runs was declared Man of the Match.
In girls section, Class VIII won the toss and chose to ball first. Class IX scored 39 runs for the loss of three wickets. Class VIII chased the target comfortably. Muskan for her 25 runs inning was named Man of the Match.
The trustee of RM Public School, Rita Mengi and Principal, Ravinder Kour accompanied the Chief Guest Rameshwer Mengi, Chairman of the school who gave away trophies to winner teams.
