JAMMU: Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan on Tuesday slammed the opposition parties for bringing a no-confidence motion against the government, saying this is a no-trust vote against a internationally known development Man who worked for the welfare of the people.
She said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly stated that this is not a no-confidence motion against the government but it has been brought by the opposition to test the confidence of its own alliance members in each other.
She took a swipe at the opposition parties, saying they were fighting among themselves and call themselves INDIA.
“This no-confidence motion is against the son of a poor, the no-confidence motion is against the person who gave people houses, the no-confidence motion is against the person who gave drinking water to the people, the no-confidence motion is against the person who gave toilets to the people, the no-confidence motion is against the person who tried to bring light in everyone’s home,” Ritika said.
Ritika said that this alliance of opposition parties is not INDIA alliance, but alliance of arrogance.
This no confidence motion is a programme for them to win brownie points, but for us it’s an opportunity to bring in the good work done by this government into the narrative. ‘Ghamandia alliance’ is a coalition of arrogance which can be defeated only by our unity, added Ritika.”
Taking a dig at opposition parties, Ritika highlighted their rhetoric about social justice, while accusing them of damaging it through dynastic, appeasement, and corrupt politics.
She reiterated Modi Govt call for a departure from corruption, dynastic politics, and appeasement practices in India.
She said people will remember the UPA regime for the 2G Spectrum scam, CommonWealth games scam and Coal allocation scam. She also mentioned the “chopper scandal” apart from “Submarine scam and ISRO scam.”
When Modi undertook surgical and airstrikes, the UPA people opposed it, added Ritika.
